Vignobles Pueyo
Christophe Pueyo crafts biodynamic Saint-Émilion wines from a collection of small vineyard parcels across the appellation.
Vignobles Pueyo is a fifth-generation family estate based in Libourne, with Christophe Pueyo taking responsibility for the domaine in 2010. Rather than continuing with the conventional practices of the previous generation, Christophe began a transition towards organic viticulture, achieving certification in 2013 and progressively introducing biodynamic practices from 2017.
The estate farms 16 hectares across Bordeaux, including 7.2 hectares in the Saint-Émilion appellation and 1.5 hectares of white grapes. Christophe works with Merlot and Cabernet Franc on the clay and limestone soils of the region, reducing extraction, limiting new oak and favouring native yeast fermentations to produce wines with a clearer expression of place.
