Domaine de Beudon

Jacques Granges established Domaine de Beudon high above Fully and, together with his wife Marion, became one of Switzerland's pioneers of biodynamic viticulture. Known as the Vineyard in the Sky, the isolated estate has become one of Europe's most distinctive vineyards, reachable only by cable car or on foot when conditions permit.

Since Jacques' passing, Marion has continued the domaine's work, living in the small cabin beside the upper cable car station, surrounded by old vines high above the town of Fully. At over 800 metres above sea level, the steep vineyards enjoy abundant sunshine tempered by cool mountain air. Glacial and rocky alpine soils contribute to wines of remarkable purity, energy and longevity.
