Philippe Mesnier and Nicolas Grosbois acquired 12 hectares of vines in the Hauts Baigneux lieu-dit of Touraine-Azay-le-Rideau in 2012.

A local to the area, Nicolas recognised the untapped potential of this little-known appellation, just east of Chinon, and together they set out to showcase its distinctive terroir.

Farmed organically from the outset and now certified organic, the vineyards are planted on silex, flinty clay and limestone soils, ideally suited to Chenin Blanc and Grolleau.
