Terroir
30 hectares on the Massif d'Uchaux plateau in Mondragon, plus 1.5 hectares in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Vineyards sit at 165 metres on chalky limestone and gravelly loam, with altitude and sun exposure creating a cooler microclimate that preserves natural acidity.

La Cabotte takes its name from the small stone shelters vineyard workers once used for tools and shade across the Southern Rhône. Marie-Pierre d'Ardhuy-Plumet and her husband Éric Plumet run the estate, which her father Gabriel d'Ardhuy acquired in 1980.

Farmed biodynamically under Demeter certification, the estate uses the lunar calendar to guide vineyard treatments, with low yields maintained through aggressive pruning and green harvests. Grapes are sorted twice, destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts, then aged in stainless steel and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
