Les Ciels Changeants

Scottish-born winemaker Phillip Hedderman launched Les Ciels Changeants in 2022 after working in New Zealand with Ata Rangi before continuing his career in Burgundy with Pascal Marchand, Domaine Dujac and David Croix. He settled in Nevy-sur-Seille in the Jura, where he farms and vinifies with a minimal intervention approach focused on expressing site. Alongside his own project, Phillip also works with fellow Brix producer Damien Courbet.

He produces two cuvées. The Savagnin comes from the east-facing Le Calvair parcel on Lias grey marl, giving a mineral, finely structured expression of the variety. The Chardonnay is sourced from two plots in Menétru-le-Vignoble, reflecting the diversity of the terroir through its balance of finesse and complexity.
