Cool maritime climate, volcanic soils and elevated hinterland slopes across single vineyard sites including Talland Hill, Landaviddy Lane, Coverdale, Little Laney and Mill Hill.

Sam Coverdale established Polperro to explore the character and nuance of single vineyard sites across the Mornington Peninsula.

With a focus on regenerative farming and thoughtful, site-driven winemaking, Polperro produces wines that speak clearly of their origin. Sam and his team manage eight vineyards across the region, five of which form the backbone of the Polperro single vineyard range: Talland Hill (certified organic and biodynamic), Landaviddy Lane in Shoreham, Coverdale, Little Laney and Mill Hill, the highest vineyard in the region.

All are farmed using a blend of biological, biodynamic, and organic practices. The cool maritime climate, volcanic soils, and elevated slopes of the hinterland define the region's distinct style, and through a gentle, attentive approach in the vineyard and cellar, Polperro captures that expression with clarity and intent.
