After a career as an electrician, Simon Faure established his own domaine in Vergisson in the Mâconnais, releasing his first wines from the 2023 vintage. Working organically and sourcing additional fruit from trusted growers, he combines meticulous vineyard work with a thoughtful, low-intervention approach in the cellar.

Fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in older oak barrels, the wines are made to express the character of each site. Today, Simon produces a range of Chardonnays from across the southern Mâconnais, including Mâcon, Saint-Véran and Pouilly-Fuissé.
