Terroir: Condrieu and Saint-Joseph occupy the steep western slopes of the Rhône Valley. Vineyards are planted on granite and decomposed granite soils, with a continental climate influenced by warm Mediterranean air and the cooling Mistral wind.

After a career in the culinary world, Simon Gastrein discovered his passion for wine through his grandfather, an enthusiastic collector. Returning to the Northern Rhône, he trained with André Perret in Condrieu before establishing his own domaine in 2017.

Today, Simon farms 7 hectares of organically certified vineyards in the Rhône Valley, producing expressive wines from Collines Rhodaniennes, Saint-Joseph and Condrieu that reflect the character of the region.
